Cadrage is a director’s viewfinder for your Android smartphone. This app enables you to accurately preview the framing of any professional camera.

It’s an indispensable tool for directors, cinematographers, camera operators, camera assistants, location scouts, photographers and all other filmmaking and photography professionals. Blocking out a scene or scouting a location? Now you have hundreds of cameras right in your pocket! Select your camera and aspect ratio, then choose between zoom and prime lenses and Cadrage Director's Viewfinder will show you what’s in your frame by simulating the field of view of your camera/lens combination. Save geotagged snapshots of your framings to the gallery and share them with other departments. All important information like format and focal length are attached to the image. We included all commonly used professional camera formats (see list below), but in case you don’t find your camera in the database, you can easily create custom formats. Cadrage supports spherical, anamorphic 1.3x and anamorphic 2x lenses.

Cadrage has a build-in calibration tool for your device's camera. This is essential for accurate previews and also allows the use of any wide-angle or telephoto adapters on your phone.
